A historic agreement has just been signed in the United States. According to a May 1, 2026, report in PV Magazine, Salt River Project and NextEra Energy Resources have signed an agreement for 3,000 MW of solar power and 1,000 MW of battery storage in Arizona. Construction is scheduled to be completed by 2027. In addition, this capacity will power 675,000 households during peak production periods.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
