JNF12KHF-X-V2 Overview
The JNF12KHF-X-V2 is a hybrid solar inverter with a stated rated output of 12 kW. It combines power conversion, solar charging, source management, display, and communication functions in one device. On this page, “all-in-one” describes this functional integration within the inverter; it does not mean that a battery, PV modules, protection switchboard, or installation work is integrated into the 15 kg enclosure.

System Role and Boundaries
The inverter can coordinate PV energy, an external battery, and an AC source according to the operating mode configured for the project. An AC utility input does not automatically mean that the unit exports energy to the public grid. Likewise, backup operation depends on the connection topology, EPS or off-grid mode, transfer time, any bypass arrangement, and the loads’ ride-through tolerance. These points are defined before ordering.
- Stand-alone installation: the PV array and battery supply the loads within the selected power and energy limits.
- AC source support: utility power or a generator may be integrated when voltage, frequency, current, priority, and protection requirements are compatible.

Electrical Data to Confirm
A 12 kW rating alone is not enough to size an installation. The technical quotation must confirm output voltage and phase count, frequency, rated current, peak power and duration, power factor, harmonic distortion, and motor-load behaviour. It must also state the MPPT range, maximum PV voltage, current per input, string count, permitted PV array power, and DC isolation and protection devices.
For the battery, confirm nominal voltage and range, charge and discharge currents, chemistry, kWh capacity, depth of discharge, BMS, CAN or RS485 protocol, and required autonomy. For an AC source, the project file confirms the voltage and frequency range, input current, bypass, priorities, transfer time, earthing, neutral arrangement, and residual-current protection.
Installation and Selection
The IP21 rating requires a protected indoor location away from rain, splashing water, excessive dust, and condensation. Confirm the wall or support, clearances, airflow, ambient temperature, cable lengths, and maintenance access. Commissioning includes checks of polarity, voltage, protection, terminal torque, battery settings, source priorities, alarms, and operation with priority loads.
To select the equipment, provide the load list with active and apparent power, starting currents, operating hours, required autonomy, PV array characteristics, battery type, utility or generator availability, project city, and technical-room constraints.
