JNP-V5 · 0.55–4 kW
JNP-V5 Series for 0.55 to 4 kW Solar Pumps
The JNP-V5 series includes nine inverters that drive AC pumps from a PV array, with a grid or generator input available according to the configuration. The range covers motors from 0.55 to 4 kW. Selection depends on motor phase, rated current, PV-array voltage, hydraulic duty, and the selected power-source mode.
Range: 9 models · Published maximum PV input: 450 or 480 V DC · AC input: single-phase 198–265/264 V AC · Motor output: 220/230 V AC single-phase or three-phase by model · Protection: IP65 · Last updated: August 19, 2026.

Solar, Grid, or Generator Operation
The term “hybrid” indicates that solar power and an auxiliary AC input can be used. It does not by itself define source priority, combining, transition, generator limits, or backfeed protection. These parameters must be defined during commissioning. The quotation must state whether the AC input comes from the grid or a generator, its voltage and frequency, protection, and the selected priority mode.
PV Array Sizing
- keep the operating string voltage within the model’s MPPT range;
- verify that cold-weather open-circuit voltage remains below 450 or 480 V DC, depending on the model;
- do not exceed the published maximum PV current;
- account for temperature, shade, module tolerances, and cable lengths;
- provide suitable isolation, surge protection, earthing, and connectors.
Information Required to Select the Pump
Provide the pump brand and model, motor nameplate, phase, voltage, current, power, frequency, total dynamic head, required flow, and borehole or tank depth. Add cable distance, level or dry-run sensor type, installation location, and availability of the grid or a generator.
The inverter does not size the hydraulic system. The pump, pipework, friction losses, flow, head, and daily volume must be consistent before selecting the electrical model and PV array.
Installation and Commissioning
- install the unit with clearances and cable glands appropriate for IP65;
- separate PV, AC-input, motor, control, and communication cables correctly;
- configure motor limits, ramp, frequency, sensors, and source priority;
- test rotation direction, flow, dry-run/level protection, and emergency stop;
- record the model, settings, measurements, and wiring diagram provided to the customer.
Estimated Price in Gabon
250,000 to 700,000 XAF, depending on model, power, communication options, connections, and protection. This range covers the product group and does not represent two fixed offers. The quotation identifies the exact model, accessories, delivery, installation, testing, inclusions, exclusions, and validity period.
