BLDC SOLAR PUMP CONTROLLERS
- Six JNPD controllers: published BLDC motor ratings from 80 to 1,300 W.
- 48–180 V maximum PV input: MPPT operating range and cold-Voc limit depend on the model.
- Controller product group: pump, hydraulic duty, sensors, PV array, and installation are selected for the project.

Six JNPD Controllers for BLDC Solar Pumps
The JNPD range includes six controllers that power a pump equipped with a BLDC motor from a PV array. It covers published motor ratings from 80 to 1,300 W. The controller adapts operation to the available solar energy through MPPT tracking and drives a motor compatible with the selected model.
This page presents the controllers. The pump, motor, sensors, PV modules, cables, pipework, and installation are selected separately or combined in a system quotation. A JNPD model therefore does not by itself define flow, pumping head, or daily water production.
Range: 6 models · Published maximum motor power: 80 to 1,300 W · Maximum PV input: 48 to 180 V DC by model · Maximum PV input current: 15 A · Controller protection: IP65 · Last updated: August 19, 2026.
Six-Model Selection Table
| Model | Maximum PV Input | Recommended MPPT Range | Maximum PV current | Maximum BLDC Motor Power |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JNPD12 | 48 V DC | 30–48 V DC | 15 A | 80 W |
| JNPD24 | 48 V DC | 30–48 V DC | 15 A | 120 W |
| JNPD36 | 48 V DC | 30–48 V DC | 15 A | 300 W |
| JNPD48 | 96 V DC | 60–90 V DC | 15 A | 750 W |
| JNPD72 | 150 V DC | 90–120 V DC | 15 A | 1,100 W |
| JNPD110 | 180 V DC | 110–150 V DC | 15 A | 1,300 W |
The stated power is the published maximum BLDC motor power for each controller. It must not be read as the power of a complete kit or as guaranteed hydraulic output. Final selection uses the exact pump model, motor nameplate, current, cabling, and hydraulic duty point.

BLDC Pump Compatibility
A JNPD controller is designed for a compatible BLDC pump; it is not a universal drive for any AC pump. Before ordering, WOW2000 confirms the pump model, motor power and voltage, connections, control method, cable length, and required sensors. If the pump already exists, provide its nameplate and documentation.
PV Array Sizing
- keep the operating string voltage within the model’s MPPT range;
- verify that module open-circuit voltage, corrected for the site’s minimum temperature, remains below the maximum input voltage;
- do not exceed 15 A at the PV input;
- account for shade, module tolerances, cable lengths, and losses;
- provide suitable DC isolation, surge protection, earthing, connectors, and cables.
For the JNPD12, JNPD24, and JNPD36, the published upper MPPT limit and maximum input are both 48 V. Confirm module selection before connection so open-circuit voltage never exceeds the controller limit.
Data Required to Select the Pump and System
- required flow in m³/h and daily water volume;
- static head, dynamic borehole water level, and total dynamic head;
- pipe diameter, length, and friction losses;
- water-source type, submersible or surface pump, and water quality;
- tank, irrigation pressure, zones to supply, and operating schedule;
- dry-run, high-level, pressure, or flow sensors;
- location, cable distance, and installation conditions.
This information matches the pump curve to the actual duty before selecting the controller and PV array. A higher motor rating does not compensate for a pump that is poorly matched to flow, head, or pipework.
Installation, Protection, and Commissioning
- install the controller in a ventilated location protected from direct sunlight;
- use cable glands and connections compatible with IP65;
- separate PV, motor, sensor, and control cables correctly;
- configure the pump, sensors, protection thresholds, and restart behavior;
- check PV voltage, current, flow, head, dry-run shutdown, and tank level;
- provide the customer with the diagram, model, settings, and commissioning results.
Pricing and Quotation Scope in Gabon
As an indication, a configuration combining the controller, pump, and accessories may range from XAF 350,000 to XAF 900,000, depending on power, hydraulic duty, and selected equipment. This range is not the unit price of a controller. The quotation itemizes the JNPD model, pump, PV modules, protection, sensors, cables, delivery, installation, and commissioning.
