JNP-V5 · 11–18.5 kW
JNP-V5 Series for 11 to 18.5 kW Three-Phase Solar Pumps
The high-power JNP-V5 range includes three inverters that drive three-phase AC pumps from a PV array, with a three-phase AC input available for a grid or generator configuration. The models cover motors rated at 11, 15, and 18.5 kW.
This page presents the pump inverters. The pump, PV modules, protection, sensors, cables, pipework, and installation are selected separately or combined in a system quotation. The inverter model therefore does not by itself define flow, total dynamic head, or daily water volume.
Range: 3 models · Motor power: 11 to 18.5 kW · Output: 380–460 V AC three-phase · PV: 880 V DC maximum, MPPT 460–850 V · AC input: 330–460 V three-phase · Protection: IP65 · Last updated: August 19, 2026.
Three-Model Selection Table
| Model | Maximum Motor Power | Rated Output Current | Motor Output |
|---|---|---|---|
| JNP11KH-V5 | 11 kW | 21 A | 380–460 V AC, three-phase |
| JNP15KH-V5 | 15 kW | 29 A | 380–460 V AC, three-phase |
| JNP18KH-V5 | 18.5 kW | 36 A | 380–460 V AC, three-phase |
Select the model from the motor nameplate, rated current, power factor, overload requirement, PV-array voltage, and hydraulic duty point. The commercial power rating alone is not sufficient to validate a pump.

Solar, Grid, and Generator Modes
The term “hybrid” indicates that the project can use the PV array and an auxiliary AC input. The quotation and wiring diagram define source priority, simultaneous operation or transition, AC-input limits, generator, isolation, and backfeed protection. In solar-only mode, speed and flow follow the available PV power.
High-Voltage PV Array Sizing
The string must operate between 460 and 850 V DC. Its open-circuit voltage, corrected for the site’s minimum temperature, must remain below 880 V DC. Because the gap between the upper MPPT limit and absolute maximum is only 30 V, calculate the number of modules in series before any connection.
- provide module Voc, Vmp, Isc, Imp, and temperature coefficient;
- confirm PV power, module count, and total current;
- do not exceed 45 A at the DC input;
- provide an isolator, fuses when required, surge protection, earthing, and correct polarity;
- size cables for current, length, voltage drop, and environment.
Pump Selection and Hydraulic Data
- model, motor nameplate, voltage, current, frequency, efficiency, and power factor;
- flow/head curve, required flow, and total dynamic head;
- static and dynamic water level, depth, pipework, and friction losses;
- daily water volume, tank, and irrigation pressure;
- motor cable, dry-run/level/pressure/flow sensors, and emergency stop.
Validate the motor, pump, and pipework together at the duty point. A larger inverter does not correct a pump that is poorly matched to flow, head, or pipework.
Installation, Protection, and Commissioning
- install the unit with suitable ventilation, mounting, and cable glands;
- separate PV, AC-input, motor, sensor, and communication cables;
- configure motor-nameplate data, frequencies, ramps, and thresholds;
- test rotation, flow, head, dry run, tank level, and alarms;
- record the model, diagram, settings, and acceptance measurements.
Pricing and Quotation Scope in Gabon
As an indication, a pumping project configured around these inverters may range from XAF 3,500,000 to XAF 8,000,000, depending on the model, pump, PV array, protection, sensors, and site integration. This range is not the price of two fixed offers. The quotation itemizes equipment, delivery, work, testing, inclusions, and exclusions.
