Kit Contents and Specifications

Actual runtime is therefore lower than these theoretical values. Any 10-to-24-hour statement must specify the number of lamps, their power level, simultaneous use of the radio or ports, initial state of charge, and battery cutoff voltage.

With an 18 W panel, 57.6 Wh ÷ 18 W gives a theoretical minimum of 3.2 full-power hours before any loss. In practice, panel output varies with irradiance, clouds, temperature, orientation, shade, battery state, and controller efficiency. The stated 6-to-8-hour charging time is therefore indicative under favourable exposure, not a daily guarantee.

Installation and Use

• place the panel in an open area and limit shade during useful daylight hours;
• connect each lamp with its 5 m cable and avoid tension, pinching, and connections exposed to water;
• install the power unit in a dry, ventilated location; no IP rating is published for the unit, lamps, or connectors;
• do not describe the kit as wireless: it does not require a public-grid connection, but it uses cables between the unit, panel, and lamps;
• confirm the supplied ports, accessories, any charger, connectors, mounting hardware, and manual in the quotation.

Suitable Uses

The kit suits basic lighting for a room, retail point, mobile post, campsite, or sheltered area without stable grid power. Select runtime according to the number of lamps actually used. Outdoor use does not mean that the unit or connectors may be left in the rain.
